MyFM interview with Ray, Kevin and Ron

Okay, here go the translation for the radio interview, I sacrificed my lunchtime for it so bear with me if I left some trivial parts out and also wrong spelling (my gastric is threatening to flare up here!)

First, the DJ welcome the trio into the studio and introduces them as men with attraction (as in the album name Attraction of Men).

Trio: Hi, everyone!
Ray: Actually we're still boy!

Trio: (Laughs)

Three of them told the DJ that this is Ray & Ron's 1st visit to Malaysia.

Ron: Hi, msian friends! I'm Ng Cheuk Hei. It's my first visit to Msia to meet and promote our album. And also perform at the concert tomorrow night. Mmm... the fans are very passionate, I can feel it the moment we step off the plane. In short, very happy.
Ray: Yes, this is Lam Fung here. Hope tomorrow performance go smoothly! Not only the fans are passionate, so is the weather! (which means very hot!) I know tomorrow even is an outdoor concert, so ehh... I believe the fans passion will help us overcome the heat!
The DJ asked Ray to introduce his song.

Ray: This is actually a subtheme from new series LWOLAP, which will be released pretty soon, I believe. I didn't know this song will be included in the album when I recorded it, which is a pleasant surprise.
Kevin: The last time I came to msia was 10 years ago, I didn't perform but I came as a singer to promote my single.

The ppl in the studio 'wow' to hear 10 years.

Kevin: This time we will be performing in front of 60,000 ppl, which make us very excited.

Trio: Yeah, very exhilarating!
The DJ informed that Bintang Walk, the venue for the concert is the busiest street in KL.

Trio: Is there any way to get tickets? Our friends want some! (laughs)
The DJ mentioned that it was a rare opportunity to have three of them come together.

Kevin: (joke) Yeah, initially we thought Ray won't be coming, we are so happy! (kevin and ron keep poking fun at ray for being more famous)

Ron: Yeah! (laugh)

Kevin: But...sigh~

Ray: I was busy filming new series. If Frankie and I both leave, the filming will stop entirely! But it would be nice to have Frankie coming along.

DJ: But you haven't answered my question! (why you are unable to attend in the 1st place)

Trio: (Laughs)!!!

Ron: I haven't start filming my new series yet, it will began filming on 19th, therefore I have to work immediately after stepping off the plane that night. It is a period drama with Myolie Wu, Sunny Chan and Leila Tong. The story was set in 1930's after the Nanking's incident.

DJ comments abt Ron rise of poularity due to his role as Isaac in TITS.

Ron: Yeah, I never really expect the outcome (popular), and the chance to work with prominent actor like Francis Ng. This is also my first solo song, I'm so happy I was given to chance to participate in this album.

DJ: Will you consider coming out with your own album?

Ron: Possible.

Kevin: I'll be filmng a new series with Nikki Chow and Bosco Wong. It's about a love story set in a shopping mall in Mongkok. My series with Raymond, Yummy Yummy will be releasing as well.

Ray: Yeah, about the same time as LWOLAP.
Kevin: (sarcastic) Yeah, you both modern and costume! (Laughs)

Kevin+Ray: We actually knew each other for a long time since we share the same vocal teacher for many years! But we only got close after filming this series.

Kevin: I was thinking: "This fellow is quite playful huh"

Ray: (Laugh) It's a series about young people struggling for their goals, they came from different background and characteristic but they team together to achieve their dreams.

Kevin: It's about friendship, youth and love. I will be having a love triangle with Tavia and Charmaine.

DJ asked Kevin what's his feeling since singing again.

Kevin: Weird. The world can be quite funny. People think when I cross over to acting, I won't be singing anymore, singing will become my 'interest'. Then, came this opportunity along and I get to do what I really like - singing.

DJ: How's the relationship btwn 3 of you? Any competitiveness?

Ray: Competitive? I don't think so. Three of us have our own 'style', plus nowadays the series have more than one leading actor with their own potential storyline anyway.
DJ: Ron, does your sudden popularity affected you very much?

Ron: Yeah, at 1st it was hard to adjust, from a normal guy to a person who everyone recognised on streets. People start pointing and said "That is Ron Ng!" I'm now slowly getting accustomed to getting recognised, but I won't say I am popular, just more ppl are recognising me. Regarding the competitive part, I don't agree with it. The studios at TVB is numerous and huge, one actor can't take up all roles, I believe the company has good method in giving out the roles fairly.

DJ: Kevin, you must be the most experienced here...

Kevin: No, don't say that...There's still Ray...

Ray: Few years only...

Kevin: We doesn't differentiate our status, we always hang out together whenever we filmed next studio. There's 4 major studion in TVB city, one human has limit, how many roles can you take up? Plus audiences will be bored if they keep seeing the same person.

Ron: Aggresive competition doesn't have benefits. We usually get to sleep around an hour everyday, if we still want to compete that's too tiring! We normally hang around each other, you see him (Ray) in his costumes coming over to our modern set to share our dinner!
DJ: Any problems with HK media?

Trio: ???

Kevin: We have no control over that

Ron: Lock the windows!

Ray: Actually, as a celebrity you have to be prepared to sacrifice your privacy. Sometime we must see from their viewpoint as well, they need to sell the papers to make a living, too. It's doesn't really matter as long as it do not affect our own feelings - true friends will know how to distinguish the truth from rumors.
Ron: I believed little of those rumors, as HK media has the habit of writing negative news, they write bad stuff abt you, and if you're in bad luck they write worst stuff. We can't retaliate them or it will get horrid.
Kevin: You can't be aggressive to them as it'll just give them more excuse to write more stuff.
DJ move on to the topic regarding the concert.

Trio: We will be singing 1 song each from our album.
Ron: There will be a lot of singers from HK, Taiwan, China and Msia, so remember to come!
Kevin: Say NO to drugs.
Ray: Yeah!

Ron: You can see our popular Raymond there! (laugh)

DJ: Also Kevin and Ron. Kevin will also be promoting his series Hard Fate on Father's Day.

Before leaving...

Ron: By the way, where is this Fatty Lok Lok? (a popular stick dipping steamboat)

Ray: What is that?!

DJ: Will tell you about it later (after the show)

Ray: Hope everyone will come to the concert!
Kevin: Must attend!

Ray: Anyway, safety first as there will be many people there! If you want to see Kevin and Ron, come to the concert!

Kevin: Raymond too!

Ron: Hope there will be more than 60,000 people!

主持：时间来到7点零1分的MY　FM ，现在要欢迎三位很有魅力的男人--------男人魅的其中三位男主角，我们欢迎郑，林，吴。

（三人问好）

吴：男孩来的。

主持：跟马来的朋友说几句话吧，因为很难得，林和吴工作上来马来应该是第一次吧。

林：是的。

吴：参加星马泰观光咯。我们。

主持：公开场合跟影迷见面都应该是第一次吧。

林吴：都是第一次。

主持：那吴你说说这次来到这里的心情吧。跟马来的朋友打个招呼。

吴：马来的朋友你们好。我是吴。这次第一来到马来跟你们见面和宣传我们的唱片。（主持提醒：还要参加今晚的音乐会）和参加今晚音乐会的。暂时一下机已经感受到马来的FANS都是很热情的。那我很开心。

主持；那林呢？

林：是，我是林峰，那希望明天的演出，整个节目能够顺顺利利，也是第一次来马来，除了这里的FANS真的很热情之外，天气也非常热，我知道明天的演出是室外的，但我相信明天的演出，观众的热情会盖过天气。

主持：那应该可以想象得到。刚刚听到的那首也是你的歌，那跟我们介绍一下吧。

林：那这首歌本来是一个……一首……不，是一部古装剧，没出街的，应该快了，后期都做完了，叫FYFY，的插曲来的。（注：我没有见过那么长的定语）其实录的时候都还不知道这歌会放在这张碟子里，觉得很意外会一起推出。很高兴这次有机会推出这么一张唱片，让我们十个人都有机会参与出一张唱片。

主持：接着还有郑，最近还有一部新的电视剧，其实对你们来说就不新了，但在astro来说是刚刚会播的，那就是翡翠恋曲。这次跟我们说说……又再可以站的大马舞台上唱歌，当然演戏我们常常都可以看到啦。

师兄：记得上次来，我是没唱歌的，上次以一个歌手身份来已经是十年前了。也是电台访问啦。

主持：但当时不是发片的。

师兄：是唱片宣传。但有公开演出，在商场里面。但上次是商场SHOW，一千来人都已经是极限啦，但这次，哗……我没有试过在一个六万人的场地唱歌，觉得很刺激。刺不刺激？？

吴：刺激。

主持：那条街原来是吉隆坡最繁忙的街来的。平时是很繁忙的，明天晚上就会封路了。我们的观众就会站在这条街上，观看你们的演出。它有一定方法索取入场券。

师兄：我们也有些朋友想要。

主持：是啊，哈哈。

师兄：有什么方法？

主持：我也不知道是主办当局说的~~听说呢，要同时间迁就三位的期都颇难的。因为你们都很忙，要拍摄新剧。后来终于都可以……

师兄：本来说林不来的，我们多开心啊。

吴：是啊。

师兄：后来一听他来，我们都不开心啊，

吴：是啊，

林：是嘛？

吴：要知道为什么就要问问林了。

主持：原来大家都在等你的期。

林：是啊，因为我现在的剧刚开工不久，所以就比较难度期。

主持：现在拍的剧是~

林：布衣神相，和林文龙的。我来了，那林文龙更加来不了了。如果我们两个一起来的话可能就要停拍了。当然，如果他也能一起来就更好了。

主持：恩~~~

吴：但我们的问题不是问这个哦~~

众人哈哈大笑。

林：行啦~~

主持：这次能够三人携手来，最近的电视剧也经常由三位担正，三位可以说是，新一代的电视小生，那可不可以跟我们说说正在拍摄的剧集`~先由吴开始吧~~

吴：我的还没有开始，因为我从这里回去之后……我19日就要走，那19号晚上我就要进厂拍摄我第一天的戏。我要拍的是一套爱情民初剧。演员有胡杏儿，陈锦鸿，唐宁，其实是一部一九三几年的南京大屠杀之后的爱情电视剧，接下来我都是忙这部剧。

主持：之前的马来都掀起过ISSAC效应，所以这次你也看到很多影迷会跟你见面。很多影迷都是因为冲上的ISSAC热潮，还有现在可以看到的肝胆昆仑，对吗？

吴：肝胆昆仑在HK还没播的。

主持：在这里已经可以看得到了。所以这都是大家最近可以追看的剧集。这么快就有人气，你能谈谈自己的感受吗？

吴：其实我第一部比较重要的角色是冲上的，怎么会想到自己会有机会演到吴镇宇的弟弟，而且之后演英雄刀少年，西厢奇缘，肝胆昆仑和一些很不同的前辈合作，学到很多东西。那想不到自己有机会拍到这些很不同的很好的电视剧咯。其实很开心的。

主持：这次还唱歌，男人魅里这首歌大家都可以跟着唱的。

吴：那一起唱吧。。哈哈~

主持：那这首歌对你的意义是怎样的？

吴：我之前唱的主题曲都是男女合唱的，可以一些是象学警那样一大班人一起唱的，但这一首是我自己一个人……个人的歌，其实和之前一样，没想过自己可以一个人唱一首主题曲，和放在男人魅这张唱片里，推出一张唱片给大家听。

主持：那接下来都有筹备个人专集的计划吧。

吴：呃~~希望吧，希望有机会吧，看公司怎样安排咯。

主持：接下来，我们听听郑吧。你有什么新计划或者新剧预告？

师兄：我现在正在拍一部新剧，刚开工一个多星期，叫天幕下的恋人。是我们旺角区，算是一个挺复杂的地区，里面有个叫SHOPPING MALL的，新型的SHOPPING MALL，我们就在里面取景。我在里面XXXXX，整个故事是一个爱情小品戏来的。整个故事都在里面发生，我和周丽淇，BOSCO，刚开始不久。

主持：有没有等着出街的剧？

师兄：等着出街的剧啊？最快的应该是我很阿峰的YY，

主持：哦。。YY，在新加坡拍的。

师兄：应该是我们最快会出的。

林：可能跟FYFY差不多时间。YY都一样……

吴：上下档吧。

众人笑，夹杂着某人愕然小声的“啊~~~~~”

师兄：也好啊，反正古装~时装~古装~时装~~

林：也好，反正两个角色不会混淆~~

主持：其实YY里的合作是怎样的呢？还有整个概念是怎样的？能跟我们预告一下吗？

如果HK能看到，这里都应该快了。

师兄：YY呢就~~~

林：我和你认识很久了，但第一次合作。

师兄：对，其实我和你认识很久了，我们同一个唱歌老师的。以前学唱歌时见过面的，

林：很多年了。九年都有了~

师兄：但你说熟，就是从去年开始的。

主持：因为拍这部戏？

师兄：哎~~原来呢条友都几好玩架WOR。（原来这家伙还蛮有趣的）

那故事……就……（略沉吟）

林：那故事其实是青春励志片，讲述一班年轻人各有各的抱负。走在一起，但个个性格都不同的，可以擦出火花的，接着为了同一事业一起努力。

师兄：发展我们的友请，爱情那样咯。年轻的，青春的（某人插话：励志）励志的片子~

主持：来自这首歌的这部剧集的~是不是可以这么说？（汗，啥逻辑）

师兄：这首歌是关于剧中的三角关系的，我和佘，杨的三角。

主持：其实你自己经过那么长的时间没发片，现在又有机会再唱歌，那感觉是……

师兄：很奇怪。

主持：跟其他人不同的是，郑在歌坛上是大家都很熟悉的，但有一段时间，大家都没什么机会听到你唱歌，这一次又再可以感觉到作为歌手的身份。

郑：其实这个世界上有些事是很有趣的，你由一个歌手转为一个演员，你会以为自己不会再出唱片，不会再把唱歌作为一个职业，只是兴趣，但是我想不到公司居然会有这样的安排，会把主题曲当做唱片形式推出，又会让我们十个人一起做一张唱片的宣传，除了在HK做，还会来到马来，这是预料不到的事，我感到很开心。可以再做我自己喜欢的事，而且，个人唱片也是没有这次那么好玩的，我觉得。就是~~有机会跟十个迥然不同的人一起做一件事，是颇有意义的。

主持：唱片里还有些资深一点的，如克勤，EASON啊，也有拍电视剧啊，音乐上的朋友。其实大家都知道电视圈是一个转变非常快的圈子，见到新一代的，不一样的又有发挥了，现在大家都知道三位都是被常用的男主角，其实大家之间的感情会是怎样的呢？还有会不会有竞争在其中呢？怎样去面对这样的竞争呢？

林：竞争？那首先我们三个的类型都很不同，我们适合的角色也不同，那竞争……SO FAR 我看不到任何……即使有也是良性的。还有现在的电视剧，一套剧里可以有两个男主角，两条线发展，所以不会说……大家都有自己的发展空间。做好自己就OK了。

主持：比如说吴吧，大家都觉得……你自己能适应红得太快的次序吗？或者心态上要面对很多工作上的压力，还有很多方面的……可以说是注意啦~到现阶段你是否可以接受到这样的生活方式？

吴：初时接受不到的，因为其实你上街，你由一个普通人，成为一个被人觉得……公众人物走上街，被人指指点点，哗~吴啊~的时候，都有一点不习惯的。不过到了现在，当然要习惯啦，其实……真是……一入豪门深似海啦~其实也又开心，又得有失吧。得的是观众的欣赏，喜欢，失的是自己的私人时间，和家里人这些东西啦，其实不是叫做红的，应该是认识的人多了，我觉得我们男孩之间竞争是比较少的，其实香港的电视的厂有几个，你没可能一个人能占了那么多厂，我相信有句话叫并驾齐驱的。一起去……那个厂~~每一天厂里有我，另一个厂里有林峰，有嘉颖，希望有黄宗泽，马国明，陈键锋，有不同类型的角色给我们。我相信一个厂，一个演员是拍不完的。我相信是分布得好的，大家可以并驾齐驱的。

主持：整个行业好的话，对大家都有好处。其他的没得做，那自己也没得做啦~~这算是一个比喻啦。那嘉颖其实算不算在三人之间算是资历上比较深的呢？

师兄：那又不能说是最早。如果说拍电视，是阿峰比我早的。哈哈~~

林：几年吧。

师兄：入行就是我最早……但是这种东西没得说的，没得说谁先谁晚的~~我觉得蛮不错的，我们电视台主要有四个厂，四个DRAMA厂，蛮开心的，一放饭就见齐那么多人，一人一台，喜欢就搭台这样子，这边吃一下，那边吃一下那样，一个人的体力有限，你一年要拍那么多个小时的电视剧，没那么多人怎样工作呢？还有观众老看着同一个人都会闷啦。，这是需要多元化的，这样行业才会兴旺。那兴旺对每一个都好。

吴：不非良性的竞争会让自己更加吃力的。还要干那么多个小时，我们一天可能只睡一小时，还要去……你斗我我斗你的事，会让自己很吃力，那不如大家一起同台吃饭，我到旁边饭桌吃你的菜，坐下和你一起吃啊，我时装头，你古装头，那样都是一件好事来的。

主持：工作上没问题。但是现在当红的艺人可能都要面对传媒上的无孔不入的情况，通常你们会以怎样的方法应对？

师兄：无孔不入的意思是？？

吴：去到你家里……

主持：就是……

师兄：有些去到你家里，这是没办法的。

吴：锁好门窗。

师兄：对啊~你惟有做好自己。有些事我是控制不了的。阿峰经验多，阿峰你说说。

林：老实说，你进了这一行，就要去承受这些东西，被人说，不管真还是假，当然会多了很多渲染，没办法，人家要SELL 书。。。同时也明白他们的苦处，其实只要你自己不要被他影响你自己的心情，或影响到你身边的朋友，因为我觉得无论那些是真是假，如果真是你身边的朋友，他会明白你的人是怎样的，他看了也不会相信。但如果不是你的朋友，你跟他说，也没意思。

主持：还有没有其他？吴卓羲？

吴：传媒……其实，诽闻其实我信一两成吧，HK有很多杂志是不会写艺人是好的，（主持：哈哈）是不会的，（主持：就是负面的就……）负面是最多的，就是……好的就写得没那么好，不好的就多踩你几下，其实现在的传媒就是那样的了。但你又不可以对他们不好。

师兄：其实你越认真，他们对你的态度就越差。你越跟他们开玩笑，说别这样啦，别玩啦……就最好，你真的不可以对他认真，尤其是HK的传媒，你越是认真，他就觉得你心中有鬼。

吴：当然，一部分啦

师兄：是，一部分。

吴：一部分的杂志记者会渲染多一些。务求销量好就……

林：没办法，HK市场竞争大，你看HK其实市场并不大，但你看看有多少本杂志？

主持：相较之下，大马的圈子应该比较健康，有机会的话，如果你接触到大马传媒，是比较正面的。

吴：是HK的传媒特别喜欢渲染的。

主持：OK，那我们还是要提一提明晚的演出，我们是不是都有机会能够在现场听到三位演唱男人魅里的歌呢？

吴：是的，属于自己的歌曲。

主持：个别唱一首？还是更多？

吴：个别唱一首。

主持：那我请三位再为我们呼吁一下明晚TVB8热爱生命音乐会，除了传达一个很正面的信息之外还是一个很精彩的音乐会。

吴：除了HK之外还有台湾啦，（林：国内啦）国内啦（林：XX中国）……都要听一听的啦。

师兄：最重要的是我们的信息：SAY　NO　TO　DRUGS
