Charmaine will be playing the role of Xiao Hu Nian (萧胡辇), the older sister of the lead actress Tiffany Tang, and also the antagonist of the drama. This drama is adapted from novel with same title. No official broadcast date announced, but it is expected to be in 2020.

The Xiao family is very influential in the Liao Dynasty court and they have 3 daughters, Hu Nian being the oldest sister. Her character is very smart, calm and mature. She have crush on the male lead Han Derang (Shawn Dou). She ends up marrying a much older, Liao prince Yelü Yanchege (Kevin Tan) for the sake of her family. After her husband died, she builds her own influence and stronghold in Liao Dynasty. She also took on a lover, a horsemen slave Ma Nu, guest starring Peter Sheng (hawt!). Her youngest sister Empress Xiao (Tiffany) disapproves their union and sentenced Ma Nu to death, which made Hu Nian raise a rebellion.
