Charmaine Sheh: No surgery required for slipped disc condition

Yesterday, Charmaine wore a wedding dress matched with diamond jewelries weight over 100 carat, worth HKD5.5 million at a wedding themed event. Last week Charmaine was absent from TVB anniversary gala due to slipped disc and she expressed that doctor told her that the slipped disc is compressing on her nerves, causing her right arm to feel numb. She is currently undergoing physiotherapy treatment. Regarding the report that there will be a high risk involved in surgery, Charmaine said: "Doctor said I've not reached the extent of requiring surgery, but I need to avoid bumping myself and crowded areas. I hope to recover soon so I can film new series [The Apostle] in January next year."

About the announcement of TVB ban on NEXT media, Charmaine believe that every company have their regulations. She supports the company's decision as their contracted artiste. However, she hope that both companies with overcome their differences and reconcile at soonest. "They have been collaborating with media for so long, hope they will be able to reach a happy conclusion. (Feel disadvantaged for artistes to lose a platform to appear in publications?) Not disadvantaged, but it's better making making more friends than an enemy."

Wearing a beautiful wedding gown with luxurious jewelries, Charmaine was asked if she feels like getting married today? Charmaine laughed and said she does feel a little bit. She hopes she will be able to wear luxurious jewelries when she get married in the future. Asked if she is rushing to get married, Charmaine admit that every girl want to get married. If she get married in the future, she will not hold her wedding in Hong Kong but somewhere else in a low key manner. However, she will still make announcement since it's a happy occasion.

Charmaine's current manager, Candy indicate that Charmaine's condition has been exaggerated by media. She revealed that Charmaine is currently undergoing regular physiotherapy 3-4 times per week. Charmaine had to cancel a prize presentation ceremony attendance in Beijing and will concentrate on her health. She really hope to film [The Apostle].
