Charmaine Sheh pockets HKD50 million, evelated comeback to TVB

Charmaine Sheh worth have increased exponentially since leaving TVB as their managed artiste 2 years ago. In the blink of an eye, her contract with her previous management company has expired, resulting in EEG, Mainland China's Huayi Brothers and also TVB Mainland investment TVBC fighting to sign her. Huayi Brothers was said to offer HKD80 million. However, according to sources, Charmaine already decided on which offer to accept, finally choosing to sign with TVBC out of familiarity. Charmaine will be making a powerful comeback to TVB!

Helping TVB to earn money

Though she is returning to TVB, Chamaine's worth is no longer the same. It was rumored that she is signing TVBC for HKD50 million. With such expensive price she definitely is not just filming TVB series. Charmaine's comeback will mainly focus in Mainland China market to help them earn a huge profit. She was moved by TVBC sincerity and felt that it was better working with a familiar company. She will be filming 1 TVB series annually, starting in January next year in a series co-starring with Tony Leung Ka Fai and Eric Tsang as producer.

As for why TVBC is spending so much money to sign Charmaine, the company is newly established in Mainland China and they will be signing on more artistes. They need a big star as their prime example to attract other talents to join them. TVB executive Virginia Lok replied in yesterday's phone conversation: "It's not the time to reveal, we will announce in a more suitable time."
