Charmaine and Tavia prepared to lose out TV Queen Award?

Tonight is TVB Anniversary Award 2009 where the new TV King and Queen will be crowned. Sheren Tang and Wayne Lai is the hot candidate tipped to win the award. Yesterday Charmaine Sheh and Tavia Yeung did not attend the blessing ceremony, does that indicate that they are prepared to lose out TV Queen Award?

Regarding the allegation of Charmaine, Tavia and Moses Chan absent from the blessing ceremony due to disappointment, Charmaine clarified through the phone that she had to attend '72 Tenants of Prosperity' press conference. "The company arranged for me to film the poster and MV for the movie." Charmaine indicate that we do not need to guess further about the winners, because the result will be revealed tonight.

Charmaine expressed that she will look at the award using a normal attitude, as she does not want to pressure herself too much. Discussing about Sheren's immense popularity, Charmaine said: "Everyone is also a competitor. There is no main competitor, being nominated means they did a great job. (Any expectation?) I don't think everyone will hold disappointment to enter a competition. I do not wish to guess. It's like having a baby, I will not scan for the gender therefore it will be a surprise whether it's a boy or girl."


The dailies revealed the voting among TVB artistes. Charmaine voted:

Best Actress: Sheren Tang
Best Actor: Wayne Lai
Best Supporting Actor: Michael Tse
Best Supporting Actress: Susan Tse
Most Improved Male Artiste: Ngo Ka Nin
Most Improved Female Artiste: Catherine Chow



Last evening, Charmaine also took time to attend Power Chan and Mimi Lo's wedding dinner. Power Chan portrayed Charmaine’s god brother and elder brother in LWOLAP and You're Hired respectively. Wishing them a long and blissful marriage ahead!
