Charmaine Sheh: Please don't switch off the TV

Yesterday Charmaine attended the [9th Caring For Children Foundation] charity event as their ambassador wearing hot pants and 4-inch high heels. Regarding the criticism of TVB calendar looking fake, Charmaine said beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The company has been taking calendar pictorial for many years and decided to use 3D element for richer effect and giving a refreshing feel to public. Asked if she noticed Tracy Ip's cleavage in the calendar and whether it was computer effect, Charmaine said she didn't pay attention.

Charmaine is currently busy attending events in both Mainland China and Hong Kong, and tentatively scheduled to attend TVB anniversary gala. She will be filming TVB series in January next year. In between, she agreed to appear as special guest in Louis Yuen's concert. Charmaine said she's quite nervous. Will she be appearing with sexy image? "Currently haven't decide, hope to surprise everyone."

When heard about netizens wanting to boycott TV by switching off their sets on the evening of TVB anniversary, Charmaine appeared to be clueless and surprised: "Switch off again? I haven't attended TVB anniversary for 2 years, please don't switch off the TV. I think that TVB also have fans, there should be people supporting the show." Will she ask her fans not to participate in the switch off TV movement? Charmaine expressed that she will not ask anyone to do anything.

Mentioning about TVB strategy of limiting artistes filming in Mainland China, Charmaine said: "I'm not sure. Because I'm signed with TVBC, my main concentration is in Mainland China while filming one TVB series per year only. (Do you feel TVB is very chaotic right now?) According to my 10 years plus experience, which is neither long nor short but in between we experienced a lot of difficulties, so I believe everything will get resolved soon. There's no need to worry. Now that new license has been issued, there will be more demand for artistes and increase in income."
