The historical epic [Legend of Yuan Empire Founder] which comprises of director Xu Xiao Ming, Hu Jun, Charmaine Sheh, Tang Guo Qiang, Ray Lui and other big stars has already filmed more than halfway. Charmaine Sheh who portrays Empress Chabi in the series accepted an interview in Beijing. She indicates that she has already signed with a company in Mainland China and hope that she will have the opportunity to portray ugly woman in the future. Regarding the rumors of her reconciliation with Kevin Cheng, she replied: "Don't know who said it, my love life is empty right now." However, she frankly said that love has to depend on fate, so she is not in a hurry.

Charmaine Sheh who portrayed the female lead Yip Zhi Yan frankly said: "Th story of human nature represented the inner voice for a lot of people. I feel that the series is not really targeted at the mass, it's not the usual series that will be appreciated by our parents." Mentioning the attachment with the male leads, Charmaine said: "(Despite) Knowing that they didn't bring Ka Ming back (from the mountains), I become more considerate toward them. Unexpectedly, when I accepted them again, I found out that they actually harmed Ka Ming."

Recently, Kevin Cheng and Charmaine Sheh won Best Actor and Best Actress award at the 16th Asian Television Award held in Singapore. Evergreen Mak and Fala Chen also won Best Supporting Actor and Actress respectively. Yesterday the group return victoriously to Hong Kong minus Charmaine as she need to resume filming series in Hengdian, Mainland China. The previously rumored couple Kevin and Charmaine often ran into each other recently. During the award presentation, they coincidentally wore matching outfits. Charmaine wore a white tube dress while Kevin wore a dark tuxedo. It looked more like wedding outfits!
