Charmaine herself understand the rules of the game and choose to concentrate on Mainland China market. Yesterday, the 50 episode historical epic [Legend of Yuan Empire Founder] helmed by Hong Kong golden director Xu Xiao Ming, comprising of stellar stars such as Hu Jun, Charmaine Sheh, Wu Yue, Tang Guo Qiang, Gao Fa, Ray Lui etc held a press conference at The Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Director Xu, Hu Jun, Wu Yue etc kickstarted the ceremony by posing with great archer bow and revealed the mysterious poster for the series. The series accumulated investment of $150 million and narrates about the heroic founding of Yuan Dynasty.

Yesterday, director Xu Xiao Ming verified with the publication that Charmaine has agreed to film a 50 episode historical series by Mainland China investors. The series will be filmed in Inner Mongolia and Charmaine's filming fee reached $10 million. With such hot demand in market, no wonder Charmaine is confident to leave the nest (TVB) to seize gold in Mainland China!

On 13th August, hundreds of Charmaine Sheh fans gathered in Pudong, Shanghai at 'Fei Chai 6+1 Meet the Fans' session despite the heavy rain. After her close interaction with fans, Charmaine shared her viewpoints with reporters on her career expansion in Mainland China. Last year TVB rating champion series [Can't Buy Me Love] will be airing in Zhejiang soon. The series consisted almost 90% original cast from the series [Beyond the Realm of Conscience]. Yesterday, 'Princess Chiu Yeung' Charmaine Sheh, ‘Fu Ma’ Moses Chan, 'Maid' Fala Chen and 'Mother-in-law' Susanna Kwan arrived in Zhejiang to promote the series. Charmaine; who was formerly TVB beloved ‘biological daughter’ has finally moved her career to Mainland China market. Regarding her two year contract fee of HKD15 million, Charmaine only smiled and did not deny nor admit it. Mentioning her romantic life, ex-flame Benny Chan has already got married - yet Charmaine the upcoming leading actress for drama version of [If You Are the One] is still enjoying her bachelorette status.

Charmaine Sheh and Alex Fong's movie [Love is the Only Answer] recently premiered in cinemas. Until yesterday, the box office sales rapidly approach HKD5 million. The cast including Charmaine, Him Lam, Jacqueline Chong and Carol Yeung made a surprise appearance at a cinema in Mongkok to thank the audiences.
