[Mingpao 18/10/2010]

Yesterday Charmaine Sheh attended a seminar on Mainland China real estate as a guest. In the recent years, Charmaine have been busy filming and earning profits but she indicate that she doesn't dare to dabble in stocks investment as she doesn't know much about stocks. All the while she only invested in property as it is more secure. She happily said: "Housing price has shot up and I recently sold all my investment properties. The profit was quite favorable." Being a rich lady, Charmaine expressed that she never lost a cent in property investment. At the least, she still walked away with a few ten thousands in profit. Hearing this, the reporters teased Charmaine as 'Goddess of Property Investment'.

She added that she has just filmed an advertisement in Guangzhou and saw that real estates in Mainland China are doing very well. This made her interested in investing in Mainland China properties: "My stylist and make-up artist went to survey some properties and said that houses in Guangzhou are really beautiful. They only cost half the price compared to Hong Kong, and you can even buy a bigger and better property with sea view. In addition, the urban planning and transport system is good too. I hope I can find the time to have a look in Mainland China." Asked if she felt the best investment is finding a good man, Charmaine laughed and said: "No, buying property is the best! The quality of the property won't change, but a person can change."

Mentioning TVB upcoming anniversary gala and award ceremony, Charmaine who is a hot candidate for TV Queen Award due to her role in [Can't Buy Me Love] indicate that she is uncertain of attending the events. "Next month, I need to film a series with Bobby Au Yeung in Wuxi and it will take a little more than 2 months. Therefore whether I can attend the award ceremony depend on the schedule of filming crew." As for the Lighting Ceremony to be held today, Charmaine expressed that she will be wearing her personal wardrobe. "The style is a bit casual and chic; I'm taking a nice picture with Sir Run Run Shaw."
