Charmaine Sheh not celebrating [Can't Buy Me Love] high ratings

[The Sun, Oriental Daily 25/08/2010]

TVB new series [Can't Buy Me Love] premiered on Monday evening and reached rating of 36 point; a total of 2.3 million viewers. However Hong Kong Broadcasting Authority also received 11 complaints for airing comedy series during inappropriate timing. Originally the cast planned to celebrate the high ratings, but producer Miu Siu Ching expressed that they have canceled the celebration and indicate that the message of the series is to convey love.

[CBML] casts have mixed feelings regarding the high ratings. When contacted, Charmaine Sheh said: "Very conflicting, not planning to celebrate. My emotions have not calmed down yet. When I saw the news (Philippines tour bus hostage) last night, I couldn't help crying. The Philippines police force was really incompetent in rescuing the hostages, people are feeling upset. My condolences to the victims' families."

Do not repost.

Sehseh: R.I.P. to the victims and condolences to their families.

p.s. Voting for Seoul Drama Awards 2010 will end on 26 Aug 2010 (Korean time). So please try your best and vote for Charmaine!
