Recording began for the latest series of TVB's popular gameshow Super Trio Show <鐵甲無敵獎門人> yesterday, as the main host Eric Tsang (曾志偉) returned for his seventh season of fun with two new co-hosts, Wong Cho Lam (王祖藍) and Louis Yuen (阮兆祥) joining regular sidekick Chin Ka Lok (錢嘉樂).
The first show in the new series boasted a glittering array of stars, including Michael Miu (苗僑偉), Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), Charmaine Sheh (佘詩曼), Krystal Tin (田蕊妮), Johnny Tang (鄧兆尊), Cutie Mui (梅小惠) and the three beauties from Malaysia's Astro Wah Lai Toi, Tiffany Hew (丘涴鋌), Cheng Ching Ting (鄭婧婷) and Crystal Wong (王翎蓓).
A number of brand new games were also unveiled in this episode and during the demonstration of the first game by Eric and Cho Lam, they found themselves in an awkward situation, where Eric was faced directly with Cho Lam's groin area. However, the comedy king was unfazed and managed to raise plenty of laughter from the audience as he complained about the smell.
Even family members in the audience became involved in the fun, when Charmaine's mother was invited onto the set to step onto Michael's thigh, but she was left a little shaken and frightened by the experience.
The kissing games also marked a return and with Johnny and Michael paired up with the beauties, they became very fortunate men with their close encounters. At one stage, Johnny nearly kissed Charmaine on the chest. Asked afterwards if he felt very privileged, Michael smiled that he felt no emotion. As for whether he was worried about his wife getting jealous, he said that she would not because it was just a game.
In the final game, the guests had to dive into a pool of water, but the ladies were all well prepared and wore dark underclothing to avoid revealing themselves.
