[Glittering Days] receive number one ratings nationwide, TVB artistes coming over to Changsha for promotion

[Glittering Days] have just been aired for 2 days, but has seized the throne for national ratings. According to reporters, [Glittering Days] which premiered on March 5th have already received a lot of media attention prior and the audiences are very interested in the series. Thus the series already obtained 2nd place in national ratings on its first episode. On March 6th, the ratings rapidly rose to 1st place. The media also found out that in order to promote [Glittering Days] and soon to be aired TVB series, HunanTV will be arranging for popular stars Bowie Lam, Charmaine Sheh, Joe Ma, Myolie Wu, Sharon Chan and Selena Li to visit Changsha on March 13th.

Due to the fast moving plot in [Glittering Days], it has garnered favors among audiences. In the 2nd episode, the plot narrates about Kam Yin (Liza Wang) and Ling Fung (Roger Kwok) second conflict, and also the appearance of leading actress Charmaine Sheh as Xiao Lan have stimulated the ratings to rapidly increase. According to CSM Media Research (Television Audience Measurement in China), the ratings is 4.56%, at the same time is the number one ranking nationwide. For a series that has just been aired for 2 days, [Glittering Days] ratings have been rising rapidly and seized the 1st place of ratings. This proves the quality of the series and their cast's skill. Hopefully the ratings will reach another peak as the plot progress.

In addition, HunanTV plans to air several TVB series afterward such as [Land of Wealth], [Dance of Passion], [To Grow With Love] therefore TVB have arrange for an impressive group of artistes to visit Changsha for promotion. According to sources, the group of 6 consists of Bowie Lam, Charmaine Sheh, Joe Ma, Myolie Wu, Sharon Chan and Selena Li. They have already arranged a series of activities for the stars, such as fans meeting, appearing on "快乐2008" live recording and so on. This is an opportunity for fans to get up close with their idols.

Congrats to [Glittering Days]! Hope the ratings will continue to rise. Speaking of [GD], I know plenty of people have emailed me requesting for the mp3s. Last week I plan to upload them, but I realized I have transferred them to another folder prior (I did an update for another fans in early 2008) and now I forgot which folder I kept them. Gahh... now I'm really frustrated, it's there but I don't know where!

Charmaine & Joe will be heading to Changsha on March 11th to 13th. I'll post the schedules once they are available. Lucky mainland fans who get to visit them! The last time Charmaine went to Changsha was two years ago to promote WAB.
