New cast for TITS 2

TITS generated great buzz when it was aired in 2003, so TVB has always hoped to get the original cast together for a sequel. Unfortunately they haven't managed to convince Francis Ng, and so have to seek other alternatives. TVB now plans to use 'HK's Richard Gere' Alex Fong to partner their two 'yat jie', Jessica Hsuen and Liza Wang, to create another TITS wave.
TITS was well-received by the audience, rising the popularity of Francis Ng, Joe Ma and Flora Chan, and made newcomers Ron Ng, Sammul Chan, Bosco Wong and Kenneth Ma into household names. TVB tried hard to persuade Francis into making a sequel, but he had already stated he would do it only for the right price. Both parties had many talks to no avail, thus plans for the sequel were repeatedly put on hold.
Recently TVB started planning next years' productions, and TITS has been scheduled to begin shooting early next year. Foreign locations include Moscow and England. Only Ron Ng remains from the original cast, and it will have a completely new storyline.
When asked, Jessica admitted that she has accepted the part. Although the pairing of Flora and Francis was well-loved, Jessica feels no pressure and will treat this with her usual attitude.
Alex Fong also admitted that TVB has approached him and he's very interested. However, his schedule is full till beginning of next year, so he's still unsure if he will be able to take part. Furthermore, most people think TVB wants him to play a dashing pilot but his role is actually a ground personnel, and he's slightly disappointed with that.
He said laughingly, 'Yup, thought I'll get to be a pilot but who knew it's a ground personnel. So unless they change the title to 'TITS-Ground Engineer', then it'll be different.'
Alex revealed TVB is also trying to sign him to a full-time contract, but he's used to making his own decisions work-wise and is comfortable with things as they are, so chances of that is very low.
WHAT?! Alex as a ground personnel? What a waste! Not long ago there was a discussion at Funn's site and I once mentioned that Alex would be great as a pilot. Imagine my disappointment when I scrolled to the end of the article above.
And of all the people, why Ron Ng again?! He already caused me to avoid RDOV (which I heard is a good series), and now I'm not going to rent TITS 2 as well. EXCEPT if Alex confirmed his role in here, preferably as a pilot. No comments on Jessica and Liza Wang though. I'm betting their role would be the standard "Strong headed, optimistic, tough cookie woman" (Jessica), and "Wise, mature, understanding senior" (Liza).
p.s. Louis has officially declined a role in TITS 2. He said he doesn't like the idea of being cooped up in airport grounds for few months.
